The La Crosse Area Chapter H.O.G. is sponsoring two different riding contests, "High Mileage" and "World Wide Poker Run" , for the La Crosse Chapter members over the course of the 2008 riding season Both contests are free to La Crosse Area Chapter H.O.G. members. Both contests have cash and prize payouts at the conclusion of the contests and will be awarded at the Chapter Holiday party January 2008. The "High Mileage" will pay out ten places; places one, two and three will be awarded to the three Chapter members that have recorded the most miles over the course of the contest. Places four through ten will be awarded to Chapter members using a random draw from all remaining entries. First place: $100, Second place: $75, Third place $50, places four through ten: $10. The "World Wide Poker Run" will pay out four places, winners will be determined by poker hands drawn using the Chapter's established Poker Run rules. Contestants must stop at ten different Harley-Davidson dealership anywhere in the world with the provision that they have ridden into the dealership on a Harley, their own or a rented Harley. The only dealership in the world excluded from the contest is the La Crosse dealership. Chapter members need to document each stop with a picture if the shop is not open while you are there, or by a dealership stamp or identifying item from the dealership. First place: $100, Second place: $75, Third place: $50, Worst hand: $10 and a lucky rabbit's foot. There is no limit to the number of entries a member may submit ,but a dealership can only be used one time during the calendar year.
