Ride leader Greg Nikolaisen has organized a ride to the scenic 'Bridges of Madison county' in our neighboring state of Iowa. The ride is scheduled to leave the La Crosse Area Harley-Davidson dealership 8:30-9:00 a.m., July 11th and return Sunday afternoon, July 13th. Chapter members and one guest are invited to join Greg on this ride to the Bridges of Madison county with a scheduled stop at 'Freedom Rock' and possibly the home of John Wayne, or whatever else looks interesting along the way. Rooms are blocked until June 27th at the Best Western Metro North in Ankeny, Iowa. Each rider is responsible for their own room arrangements which can be made by calling 515-964-1717. The room rate of $62.96 plus tax, is per night for one Queen bed. If you would want to share a room, there are some two bed rooms available but those are limited. When you call, ask for the block of rooms under La Crosse HOG.
